BIKE RIDE TO LIBERTY WILDLIFE (NON-RIDERS CAN MEET US THERE)

Bike Ride will depart from under the Mill Avenue Bridge on the North side of Tempe Town Lake.

Attendees pay for their own charges


Our ride will depart from under the Mill Avenue Bridge on the North Shore of Tempe Town Lake and follow bike paths adjacent to the Rio Salado riverbed to Liberty Wildlife (approximately 7 miles) where you will experience first-hand interactions with non-releasable wildlife.  We will learn about their rescue and rehabilitation efforts, tour their interpretive trail, visit many species of birds and meet small mammals, reptiles and other desert creatures.  Admission is $10. 

After our visit we will ride back to Tempe Town Lake where the Dragon Boat Races will be in progress. We'll stop at the Watermark complex to pick up a to-go lunch at one of the restaurants and then picnic outdoors and enjoy the lakeside view of the races. You are welcome to bring your own lunch if you prefer.

Not a bike rider?  You are welcome to meet us at Liberty Wildlife at 10:00am to enjoy the time we spend at this incredible facility.  2600 E. Elwood Street, Phoenix 85040
