INTRODUCTION TO PADDLEBOARDING
TEMPE TOWN LAKE – AUGUST 8, 9:00 – 11:00
Come and join Jonathan and Jeanne Olcott as they teach us how to do various activities on the paddleboard such as downward dog, plie, headstand, and back handspring or, for most of us beginners, how to stand up and maybe paddle. Meet at the rental shop at Vela at Tempe Town Lake Apartments, 555 N. College Ave #1030, Tempe, AZ. The location is on the north side of Tempe Town Lake and there is plenty of parking. Rentals are $35.00 for two hours or $23.00 for 1 ½ hours. To make reservations call the rental shop at 480-967-5900. Rentals include the paddleboard, leash, paddle and PFD.
