A moderate 4-mile hike with 1,007 ft net elevation gain. This is the way to Flat Iron, but we’re
not going there! The plan is to go to the end of Siphon Draw by the (dry) waterfall.
Trailhead: Lost Dutchman State Park is located just east of Apache Junction. From Highway 60,
take the 88 / North Idaho Rd exit. Continue 2.2 miles to a fork and bear right. Continue
to Lost Dutchman State Park (7.1 mikes) and turn right. Pay the park fee and follow
signs (right) to Siphon Draw Trailhead.
